I have a problem with the alignment on a dot matrix printer. On 5 out of the 6 PCs in the office, which are all running Windows 7, the alignment is fine. However, on the other PC which is running Windows XP, the alignment is wrong - it basically prints a line below where it should print. I've tried reinstalling the printer on this PC using different drivers (the guy who originally installed the printer on the network used an Epson driver even though it is an Oki printer), but this hasn't made any difference. Is there anything else that I can try to fix the problem?

The printhead has some thermisters in and it is either actually overheating or a faulty thermister thinks it is overheating. Either way, a new printhead is required.
