Sometimes when i boot my computer my GUWAVKIT2 iogear hdmi tv wireless connection stays disconnected. the adpater and usb antenna are only 5 ft apart line of sight. I had it working fine for weeks. Haven't installed anything on the PC. on channel 13, tried 14 & 15 with no success. Please help.

you say it suddenly stopped working, if you can connect to the router via ethernet cable then try to access the router's web utility page and make sure your router is in mixed or G-only. If you can't still connect to the router through wireless then try restarting the Wireless Zero Configuration from windows. This is how it's made: Go to control panel and double-click "administrative tools", then double-click "services". You will see a list, scroll down to Wireless Zero Configuration and click "stop", you'll see a progress bar. After that click "start", you'll see another progress bar. Now try connecting to your router via wireless connection. If you still can't connect then repair the connection by right-clicking the wireless icon at the bottom right corner. Keep repairing until you connect.

Did you check whether the USG adapter can work in "G" mode, read the manual of the usb adapter and check whether it can operate in "G" mode since your router is a wirelss "G" model the devices which detectes signals should also work in :g" mode, And most of the inbuilt adaters are viable with a/b/g/N type routers, so please check the manual and let me know

Something is wrong whith the HDMI jack it's self, or the electronic switching is not sensing a signal is present. In either case the board that has the HDMI jack you are using needs to be replaced. Most all these boards are double printed, Multi-layered or both which prevents replacing the jack it's self. I do have a question though, do you only have on HDMI jack on the unit or do you have another one available.

Either look into getting bigger (higher gain) antennas for your router, or get bigger/stronger antennas for your PC's.

Other than repositioning the existing antennas or putting the router higher up in the air, there isn't much you can do.
