Very simple solution. What you need to do is remove the unit and swap your RED (ignition) wire with your YELLOW (constant or battery) wire.
there is not much more to it than that. if you provide me with your vehicals details i can give you a complete wiring diagram.

    Hi i have fitted a sony cd player to a 02 landcruiser and got 2 iso adapters to fit all plug ins and still no joy until i joined the red to the yellow,I now have power and all works fine but it doesnt store the channels when you restart the jeep,
