How do I replace the web on a Cannon Imagerunner 330E ??? Is it very difficult. I have done a little repair work before but nothing like this. Cannon Imagerunner 330E has error message E005

Lord I have been avoiding this question, but I really want to help.Ok, you of course will need the cleaning web that you have next to you.Here we go. Disengage the main transport area, the large green handle you commonly use to clear paper jams located at the center of the copier once you have opened the front door.Pull it completely towards you.So far this is familiar territory for you I'm sure.Now that the transport is out, you will see to your left a "box" which would normally be HOT but since your device has this error code it will be cool.We need to remove that yellow cover.Lets establish a referrence.Please stand over the the "yellow cover/fixing/fusing assembly.Now that we are over the top of it and looking down you will see that there is a jam clearence area on it that swings OUT to the left.We are still in common territory :-) Looking at the top yellow cover(which we are going to remove) locate the single screw that will allow you to remove it.The screw is about in the center of the cover,on the right of the cover,and is angled 90' from where you stand..Remove the screw and slide the cover to your right.Notice the manner the cover will remained attached to the assembly (to the left since there is no screw on the left) when you have successfully completed our mission.Ok, cover off.Now you are looking at the cleaning web assembly.It provides an application of silicon oil to the hot roller and cleans it.Your cleaning web has run out.Notice there are 2 rolls of "paper" there.One "was" the supply roll, the other takes up the use of the supply.So now you have a large roll of discolored web to the left and almost nothing on the right.We need to fix that.There are 2 screws which you should see(located at the top of the assembly) one close to you and the other about a foot away towards the rear of the assembly.Remove those AND you will notice a release of pressure as you do this.You will be applying that same pressure as we complete ths task.Now that you have removed these screws, swing the "cleaning web assembly" up and to the left I could go into even greater detail at this point but I bet you know what to do.The web roll is spring loaded. It is also "keyed" so you will know how to install the new web.Notice the orientaion of the supply roll versus the take up roll.The supply roll will provide web in a couterclockwise method as the take up roll "takes up" in a clockwise method.I bet you are damn near there! Now, notice the small brown plastic lever located at the front of the assembly(close to your waist).It needs to be on the OUTSIDE of the web as it tracks size of the supply roll.As it rides the roll,and the roll diminishes in size,it eventually trips a sensor that lets the copier know the web is out.When you close the web assembly you will see how this works.So now that you have installed the web, turn the supply roll to take up all slack,it will coast, and when you swing the assembly back into place the necessary slack will be formed as needed.Button that baby up! If you have made it this far(I'm sure ya have) now we have to go into service mode to reset the error.The copier is re-assembled and doors shut.Press the "ADDTIONAL FUNCTIONS " BUTTON....release,press the numbers 2&8 simaltaneously.....release,press"ADDTIONAL FUNCTIONS"again.This 3 step function should be fluid and smooth as you are entering service mode.It may take a time or two to successfully get into service mode. When you are successful, you will see a new screen in the display.Pess COPIER. Another new screen appears with tabs across the top. Press FUNTION. New display again.Look for CLEAR. Press it.NOTE! we have a specific item to clear,anything else is BAD. Ok,now that I scared the hell out of ya, you will see ERR. Press it,then hit OK in the lower right corner. We have just told the copier to reset and relook at the web sensor. We are still in service mode. At the top tabs, to the right you will see "COUNTERS".Press it.In that new menu press "MISC". In that new menu press FIX-WEB. Now press "0" and OK.You have just reset the counter.If you have made it this far we need an "AIR HI FIVE!" Now turn the main power off, as in unplug the B%$$##@ !!! Power up. Life is good. You take care. :-) Oh ,HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :-)
