You could try downloading the instructions manual from their website which is www.samsung.com

Just go to Support
- Then Download Center
- Click on Search by model number
- Type in NV 3 then click on Search
- Scroll down and look for Manual
- Just click on the English link of the Manual

It may be telling you that the internal memory is full. You must get rid of anything in there. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert your new card and do the "format" thing again.

I put a new memory card in the camera and it says
You need to eliminate the pics from the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert your card and do the "format" thing again for the card. Everything should be normal now.

Why bother? You're using a Mac, use the Macs own software.
Just plug the camera in to the computer and watch what happens.

I would try taking the battery out and waiting a minute or two and then reinserting the battery. If this doesn't work I would have it looked at by an authorized service technician, or you could bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out for service. if you still have the original disk put it in and u should see and option saying manual it has the entire manual on PDF format
