Under the battery there should be a little button here u might have to use a needle or somethign fine and sharp to reach it, press that. that should help. if it is not there, then it might be under or on top of the camera im not to shore, try to find it, if u cant, please et back to me.
Turn on the camera, select 'home', select 'settings', select 'main settings' (and 'ok'), select 'Initialize'.
First turn off the camera. Then pull the battery. Then push and hold the power button for 15 seconds. Release the power button. Re-install the battery and turn on the camera.

there is not a reset button listed in the instruction manual for the cybershot
