I bought a Made in US Medela Pump In Style Advanced. When I plugged it into power the power adapter blew a fuse. I am residing in Malaysia (our voltage is the same as the UK ie 240V). I have bought another power adapter on the internet describing to the seller what i needed. What i received still says " Input: 120VAC 60Hz 26W". Can u please confirm that this is the right adapter? I'm worried that if I plug my pump in with this the pump will be spoilt.

Medela is one of the most renowned pump manufacturers. The company manufactures a range of pumps, each with different features, style, technology, aimed to offer ease and comfortability of milk pumping. While having choices is a great thing, at times having too many of them can rather intimidate you. Here are some best pumps from Medela: http://bit.ly/2UalBeh

Your pump has been recalled, perhaps that is the root of the problem.

Here is the link to the Medela recall site

Medela, Inc. is recalling a limited number of the Pump In Style Advanced breastpumps. The small percent of pumps affected by this recall were manufactured between February 10, 2010 and March 3, 2010 and shipped between February 10, 2010 and April 30, 2010. These pumps would have been purchased by mothers between approximately March 1 and June 30, 2010.

We have determined that on a very small number of pumps produced during this period, a component on the control board, after a period of usage, may cause the motor to slow down or stop. Please see below for the list of possible symptoms. We will replace recalled units free of charge. The unit being replaced must be shipped back to Medela at Medela's cost.
