I forgot what my lock code is on my phone. is there a way i can reset the code. or could i do a hard reset on the phone?
The lock code is the last four digits of the current phone number of the phone.
Go to the nearest service centre and ask him to restore the factory settings then ur phone will be reset

The code is the last 4 digits of your phone number. I don't know why, I don't know how. I only know trhat I was trying everything I copuld think of, and that is the thing that worked.
My phone is an Alltell model that I bouight used and had flashed over to Cricket service. They did not program this code in when I bought the phone...as the sellers did not know my phone number to begin with.
But this morning, it said "locked," and I spent 1/2 hour typing in guesses. The last 4 of my phone number, worked. Who in the heck knows why...but it did.

u cant reset the lock code by your own, its default code is 0000. but if u changed and forgot then u must go to the near by service centre they will charge u very less for it

Try using the default 0000. If its still not working, the best thing for you to do is to look for someone who has an expertise with unlocking phones.
