Hello. We have a Jet 1 3/4 HP Cabinet Saw (stock # 708435S) (model #JWCS-10A-LFR). This is used in a City Woodworking studio. Last Wednesday during class the thing just shut off. I checked the breakers - all was well. I tried hitting the reset button, but it did no good. I wait until the next day to again hit the reset button, but the saw still does not come on. I'm not sure what to do - or who can service this piece of equipment. Can you please help. Chris City of Tampa Taylor Art Studioq

First things first: Does the blade turn freely? I assume so, since it was in use at the time it shut down.

Second, if the reset is fixing the problem, you may have a shorted winding in the motor. Was there any smell connected with the shut down? Any noise at all?
