I have been trying to solve the following problem but could not figure how to do it:
i have a table containing about 200 records -having the employees identification number,the name ,the phone number and some other particulars.Due to change in assignment the phone numbers of about 50 employees have changed.I have a second table with their identification number ,the name and the new telephone numbers.I have to devise a method to update the original table with the new telephone numbers of these 50 persons .

Its hard to fully explain but you can download this file as an example to how you can solve the problem via running a simple query from which you can copy the new phone numbers for the new phone column and paste it on the old phone column . its just that easy .
