I am not sure about unlocking the VM9512, but you can always rip the move and remove the region code from your DVD.
To access the override features do the following.
1.enter the setup menu when you are in the radio.
2.press the language button.
3. On the remote press "setup" then 543210
4.You should hear a beep with each key press.
5. You should now be in the hidden setup menu and you can change the region codes AND bypass the parking brake feature.

1 passo:so pode ser feito com o controle remoto:vai em setup coloca em cima de language(n clicar so deixar em cima a palavra vai ficar azul) ai clica no controle os numeros 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,e 0 esse e o codigo pra vc acessar um menu secreto.
