In the front there should be an "AUX" hole you need to get one of these http://www.amazon.com/AUDIO-3-5MM-JACK-AUXILIARY-CABLE/dp/B001T4SNQO and plug one end in the AUX hole and then the other in to your ipod. Just press the source button to switch from CD or Radio to the AUX.
It could be one of 3 spots on your deck
1 bottom right look for a rca head phone jack
2 top right look for a usb connector
3 back of deck look for rca leads

There is a way to do it. I had mine set up so that the iPod was detected as "ext in" and was controlled from the iPod. Unfortunately, I don't remember how I did it, and I recent battery replacement has reset this, which is why I came looking for instructions. If I remember how to do it, I'll post it here.
