The CCD (image encoder) is most probably failing. It could be the CCD itself or the solder connections going to it. There is also a SLIM chance that it's a problem with the ribbon cable between the CCd and mainboard. If you are VERY mechanically inclined, have a set of jewelers scredrivers and are VERY careful AND patient, you could take it apart and see if all the cables are properly seated, but I would suggest a service shop, as it's REAL easy to break or tear very important parts.
