Hello duck,
there are a few ways to open your document.
1) Purchase Windows Office from a local retailer or online at http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/buy/?WT.mc_id=ODC_enCA_Office_Buy
2) You can download and use OpenOffice.org. It is very user friendly, completely FREE and opens all of the Windows, and open source formats out there. I personally prefer this over Word anyways. You can find it at http://download.openoffice.org/.
3) If you want a quick way to open it and if the document is in .docx format you can use this website: http://www.freefileconvert.com/. This website should allow you to convert your document into any format you wish. You will likely want to convert it to .doc.
Good Luck
Microsoft Word is a paid for product, if you don't want to buy it there are free alternatives on the net like OpenOffice
it's free and it supports all the files that Microsoft Office supports, if you want a quick way of printing a Word document, this is how you'd do it!
Your in luck. Almost exactly like MS Works and MS Office... Open Office.
