Where is the oil drain plug - Craftsman 675 Series 190cc 22" Briggs Stratton Rear Bag Front Propelled Lawn Mower ()

New motorcycle engine oil (as per manufacturer's recommendation)
Oil filter
Wrench or socket set
Oil drain pan
Funnel
Shop rags or towels
Prepare the Motorcycle:
Ensure the motorcycle is on a level surface and turned off.
Allow the engine to cool down if it has been running.
Locate Drain Plug and Oil Filter:
Identify the oil drain plug underneath the motorcycle engine. It might be covered by a skid plate or other protective cover.
Find the oil filter. It's usually located on the side of the engine.
Drain the Old Oil:
Place the oil drain pan underneath the drain plug.
Use a wrench to carefully loosen the drain plug (anticlockwise). Let the old oil drain completely into the pan.
Once drained, re-tighten the drain plug securely.
Replace the Oil Filter:
Use an appropriate tool to remove the old oil filter. Be ready for some additional oil to drain out.
Apply a thin layer of new oil to the rubber gasket on the new oil filter.
Install the new oil filter and tighten it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Refill with New Oil:
Locate the oil filler cap, usually on the side of the motorcycle's engine.
Use a funnel to pour the recommended amount of new motorcycle engine oil into the oil tank.
Check Oil Level:

no info generic answer on most remove rear cover panel to access trans axle or axle --for mid size plug lower section under linkage --small ones no service port ------on larger with a transmission plug on side

let engine cool down. that way all the oil will drain to the pan. leave engine off until new oil is added. it is a good idea to also change the oil filter at this time. you can ask the guy's at the place where you bout the oil, how many quarts your car will take. autozone is a good source. they can also recoment the right oil as far as viscosity. now it's time to crawl under your vehicle and remove the drain plug. don't forget to put the drain pan directly under the drain plug and oil filter that's why i always use a container that i buy from the dollar store, it's big enough to get under the drain plug and the filter(carefull, the oil filter will still have oil in it). i think they mostly use them for doing dishes. let it set and drain for 10 minutes to get the most old oil out..................now it's time to add the new oil and filter. in this order.....add new oil filter(wet the seal of the filter with oil), add new oil except for last quart. (last quart add only half of it as there are lots of cars that require for example.........(5 1/2 quarts) now start engine and look for leaks around filter and oil plug. now remove drain pan or you'll probably run over it. lol take it for a short drive and while engine is still running, check for leaks again. if you have followed these instructions, your done. congratulations !!!.

Are you sure you're pulling the correct drain plug?
On Harleys with the oil tank under the engine, there are usually two drain plugs, oil and transmission drains.
Also, some have a drain on the bottom of the engine, which only a little residual oil will come out of it.
Finally, when the oil stops draining from wherever you're draining from, does the oil dipstick show that the oil level has dropped?
If not, you got the wrong plug!

well let me see you have 4.6L engine you need 7.5 quarts of oil with new oil filter.to do the oil change you need large drain pan and oil filter wrench and a metric wrench to remove oil drain plug you need a funnel also.you need first start engine let it run for 5 minutes to warm up thin out the oil so it will flow better.once engine warm up.turn off the engine.open you hood.now safely raise support vechicle on jack stands make sure vechicle parked on solid level ground.place large drain pan under oil pan remove oil drain plug you need a 15m wrench remove drain plug let all old oil drain out until you see slow drip then reinstall oil drain plug dont over tighten drain bolt.then place drain pan under the oil filter then remove oil filter using oil filter wrench or large channel lock pliers.once you remove oil filter wipe oil filter seal surface with clean paper towel.take new oil filter add oil to new filter then install new oil filter hand tight take filter wrench turn oil filter one half more turn dont over tighten will damage oil filter seal.make sure oil pan drain plug is in place. then lower vechicle. remove oil filler cap on the valve cover add new oil to the engine using a funnel to keep from spilling oil all over the valve cover and exhaust manifold.add all 7.5 quarts to oil crank case wait until oil settle down in crank case check oil dip stick oil level should be at the full mark on oil dip stick.dont over fill crank case.once you finished oil level correct crank engine check for oil leaks at oil filter and oil drain plug. if engine running okay you see no oil warning lights you ready wheel and deal.

Look under the mower for a square plug or allen wrench type plug, this will be your oil drain for the motor.
Some of Briggs & Stratton motors do not have an oil drain plug...
If you do not have an oil drain plug then you will have to run the mower to get it warm, then remove the oil fill plug and tip the mower towards the oil fill plug to drain out the oil thru the fill plug hole.

Before adding any more oil, make sure that you have securly replaced and tightened the oil drain plug (which is located on your engine's oil pan, under your car).

PUT OIL DRAIN PLUG BACK IN OIL PAN. THEN SLIDE DRAIN PAN UNDER OIL FILTER REMOVE OIL FILTER LET OIL DRAIN UNTIL IT STOP DRIPPING.TAKE CLEAN PAPER TOWEL WIPE OIL FILTER SEAL SURFACE MAKE SURE NO DIRT ON SURFACE.TAKE NEW OIL FILTER POUR NEW OIL IN FILTER UNTIL ITS ALMOST AT TOP THEN.RUB CLEAN OIL ON NEW OIL FILTER SEAL.THEN PUT NEW OIL FILTER IN PLACE HAND TIGHTEN IT.POUR 4 QUARTS NEW OIL IN ENGINE CRANK CASE USING A FUNNEL.WHEN DONE.CRANK THE ENGINE CHECK FOR LEAKS AT OIL FILTER AND OIL DRAIN PLUG.IF ALL IS GOOD JOB WELL DONE.

you probly drained the primary case oil, which house the primary drive chain and clutch. The main oil is in the oil tank, there should be a drain bolt on the bottom of the tank

Jack up pass side.Put cardboard, BIG piece under engine just in case. Using a pan to drain the oil in put under oil pan drain plug. Remove drain plug with socket wrench. Let drain 5 min. Check the gasket on the drain plug, if bad replace with new gasket .99 cents to replace gasket only on plug. Put plug back in DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN the plug. Slide drain pan with drained oil to the front to remove oil filter. Using a filter wrench remove oil filter. Let drain. When installing new filter put a little new engine oil on the rubber gasket on the filter with your finger. Screw filter back on tighten with filter wrench. Fill van with oil from front valve cover opening.
