Hmm seen this a few times. This is most commonly caused by your NTFS format layering being corrupted. Meaning that the partition was either not completed when u loaded the operating system or the format has been corrupted from "hard shut downs" This is turning the pc off with the power button instead of going to "start" button and doing a soft shut down. U can try retrieving the format back but u will have programs that no longer responde. Easiest way to solve the issue is reloading your operating system.

My dell inspiron mini 10 won't boot.There is just a flash of white light then a flash of amber light when I press the power button. That's it, nothing else. I've removed the battery and unplugged the unit and put it back together and it still does the same thing. HELP!
