The charging valve should be on one of the compressor lines, however, on some refrigerators, they don't expect the compressor to ever be changed out, and don't put a charge valve fitting on the unit. So, when replacing the compressor you will need to braze in the valve fitting.

you will have to put on an access valve to recharge the feon to your system... to do this you will need a saddle valve and vacuum pump and gauges also to do it right you will need torch to seal it . you may want to have a pro do it...
You need special tools and some experience to DIY this repair work. I would suggest to call also a refrigerator technician to help you.

if there was no valve or an entry point, this will let you decide to cut the tube and fabricate it by putting now a valve on the area that you do cutting..
