I have the AOpen keyboard P/N: 90.00029.910. Is there a way to assign a key (or key combination) to "select" and item ? I used programs that require you to either double-click an item or click "select" to complete a function. I am attempting to find a way to select without utilizing the mouse (it slows me down). in most cases the best thing to do is to change ur mouse, but i would also suggest u try to use a mouse pad, some paints have a problem when using optical mouse

had the same prob on my laptop which doesn't have a seperate number pad so all I needed to do was to press "Num lock".

I had the same problem. I just could not get the "Alt-F4" function to work in a macro.

In the Macro Editor, in the lower center, you will see the "Z" actions. I realized I wanted the "Press and hold Z" function.

To get this, use "Inserting Special..." function to insert the Alt key stroke in the macro.

Then highlight the Alt in the Editor. Right Click and select "Split."

This will put the "Press and hold Z key" and "Release Z key" icons in the Editor.

What you want is the "Press and hold" function. Delete any other references the the Alt key.

Then enter the F4 key, and there you have it.
