Hi Am not able to get my lenovo Y510 webcam connected to skype or yaho messenger or gmail or anythin of that sort.... The webcam works fine (lenovo easy capture). I've tried installing the driver software for lenovo easy camera from the lenovo support center but it does not seem to help. Please help me to solve this problem.

    Thanks for your suggestion. In all those applications the default camera has been set as Lenovo easycamera only. It still doesn't work :(

Hi sonypony,

I see that you are having issue with using the camera on your Lenovo with other programs such as Skyp or Yahoo Messenger and so on...

On your Lenovo the camera works with easy capture, that is a good sign saying that your camera works but how to make it work on other applications you will need to get in the applications settings and select the Lenovo Camera as a default device for that specific application that you are using to utilize the camera.

all the applications you mentioned earlier has thier own settings page and this is where you can set each to make the Lenovo Camera the default deivce for it to work on your applications.

    Try updating the camera driver on your computer, and try updating Java anf flashplaying on your machine as well.
