I had lost the driver CD of Xerox workcentre 3119,after down load the driver and scanner from Xerox website,the printing was back to normal,but can't scanning due to scanner icon doesn't appear at desktop.

Erm your best bet is to find where you installed the scan software and find the icon there. Once you fond it create a shortcut to that icon on the desktop.
