The problem I have is the following: I have a powercore firewire and a powercore compact. They were sounding perfect until I bought three plug-ins: the TubeTech CL-1B, Tap Factory and Harmony 4. At first I thought it was an overbuffer situation when it first happened with the CL-1B. But then it started happening with all the other plug-ins (Megaverb, Classicverb, and all the rest...) then I recently bought Harmony4 plug-in and the noise became even harsher and louder - to the point that I can't use any plug-ins from TC Electronic or neither of my powercore units. Can you please helpe me with this? It's Urgent! Remove the offending plug ins and test. Then install one at a time and test. You may be running out of processing power to service all of them. Each effect requires a lot of computer resources. Look at your system idle time when you do a CTRL-ALT-DEL and click on the processes tab while running the plugins. The last item in the list is the system idle time. If this number is small, you are out of computer power and or resources.
