Display Problems I have tried to install a new PCI video card and cannot get it to work. The card is an Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 with 256mb of Ram. I have tried all 3 PCI slots, but the screen remains blank, though the PC appears to start up as normal. I have both uninstalled and disabled the onboard Intel graphics, but unless I plug the monitor back into the onboard serial connector - the display remains blank. I am running the original CRT Dell Monitor. Does anyone have a solution or is my motherboard dead? Thanks

Enable your onboard graphics and plug your monitor into the onboard. start up your pc and install any needed drivers for the secondary graphics card. right click on your desktop and go to your display properties you should see a faded out screen that has a 2 and a lit screen that has a 1 right click on the faded screen and check enabled then move your monitor cable over to the new vid card right click on the lit 1 and disable it making 2 your primary.
