If its a P4mmv2 motherboard with AMIBIOS 686 and a VIA VT8233 chipset then the jumper setting are printed on the motherboard, but they have labeled the power switch wrong, I believe th reset switch is the power switch. This is the type of mother board that I have and I have learned this from experience. Also I read in somewhere on the internet about the problems with these types of motherboards.

Hello!
If the motherboard is new or you never set any jumper setting or you did not interfere any connection seeting their then you yo did not need jumper setting to seat the CPU.
The CPU you are going to use is very compatible in your mainboard so do not worry about the setting.
more about your setting click here for the usermanual of your board.
hope this help, melnavz

Hi sincitydiva0, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?
Can you take a high definition picture of the motherboard overhead and upload it? Someone could then tell you what goes where by downloading the picture and labeling it. It is important that any printing on the board be legible.
