Cannot get eee pc 1001pxb to connect to the internet. it has connected to a wireless internet, but not the wired connection. I have linksys wireless g router, but it is hard wired to all my computers. i have two others that connect just fine to the internet, but the eee pc has never connected to my personal internet. it connected to a friends wireless internet service, but they live 120 miles away.

Please explain what you have tried to do to enable you to get onto the wired network

have you done all your windows updates
and used a ethernet cable and connected it to your router and your laptop

Please open control panel >> network and sharing center >> if you see wireless network connection >> please disconnect it and >> connect the lan cable or wired cable to the laptop and start browsing.

This will fix the issue.
