Diane, yo can find a inexpensive do it yourself kit, at just about any home improvement center or hardware store. You can cut it to fit and probably have enough left over to make another one, if needed later.

Where can i buy filters
Amcor was bought out, and no longer supports this product or provides replacement parts for it. The unit has two filters:
  • Washable air filter which collects large dust particles and prevents bacteria build-up
  • An activated carbon filter to help remove odor
There is no manufacturer of filters (carbon or air) for this product, however if it were in my possession I would remove the carbon filter and take it into my local Home Depot or Lowes ( or whatever you have in your neighborhood) and see if they have something that might fit that is similar. Many filters work in more than one brand. The air filter should be washable still, if it is damaged you can probably do the same thing I suggested with the carbon filter.

Was vacuuming ,it jusy quite no power!
I have seen this before--there is a thermal (heat) breaker in most expensive units---

Look carefully at the air filter to see it is not blocked, one here we looked and it seemed ok but it was washable and when put under the tap in the sink the water ran Black for several minutes, follow instructions on the filter or the manual in this case and wash it if it is washable (paper ones have to be replaced) and let it dry completely.

The way I knew it was blocked was with compressed air not moving free thru it .

It must be completely dry before you try to use---no airflow here will over heat the motor and trigger the internal breaker which monitors current and temperatures.

I need to know if the filter in my vacuum cleaner is washable?
What I have found over time is that even if a filter is marketed as being washable it really means that the material will not be damaged by water. The key difference here is that it won't necessarily be cleaned better by washing. Electrolux sell a lot of washable filter for example but what i find is that washing only sets the dirt as mud. The problem is that the pores of a filter are incredibly small and water does not dislogde the particles. Remember that in the normal run of things the suction power of the vacuum is actually wedging dirt into the pores.
The best way to clean a filter like that is with an air compressor but it is very messy. Generally speaking a filter will be past it's best after a year or so of usage. My advice is air compress or replace but don't wash.

Recommend a washable lifetime filter that can be custom fitted for your unit. There are many different brands of cut to fit and custom sized filters available.
The original filters supplied with the unit are usually washable as well although the manufactures are not including it all the time anymore.

We need a replacement filter for our Sharp Air Conditioner Model AF - S60DX.
Karen, even though your model has been discontinued, you can still get a washable filter replacement for you AC Unit. Most hardware stores and home improvement stores sell a washable, mesh filter kit, that can be cut to size to fit your unit and hundreds of others. You'll probably have enough left over to make two filters, if necessary

Can't open the purifier to get to the filter. It's an SP-20, Sun-Pure.
SUN PURE is NOT a SUN AIRE Made in America product. SUN AIRE has a lifetime/washable 0.5 micron pre-filter that simply lifts out of the back of the unit and wash it in your sink. It is 1" thick in an aluminum frame like a lifetime washable HVAC filter.

Filter doesn't look clean after rinsing
It could well be that your Dyson is blocked elsewhere. Check the pipes, especially the feeder channels and the air way inspection channels on the Dyson as well as the main dirt channel after the rolling brush bar. Also brush clean the shrouds on the inner cyclones as these get notoriously clogged.
If the filter is washable it wont come up white like new unless you try a stain detergent like a pre stain remover. It would have to be heavily diluted as water is really the only way of cleaning a Dyson filter, but it also has to be of the washable type; Dyson produce a few filters, but some are not washable. EBay usually have good cheap replacements available but I'd check the first points first of all before filter replacement.
