Just need to know if the temperature should be higher to keep the room cool or lower...mine is in F and goes from 68 to 86 degrees F...Please advise if it should be lower at 68 degrees to keep the room at its coolest or 86 degrees??? Thank you for your time

Lower temperature will keep the room cooler. For efficiency sake, lower the temperature gradually to
68 degrees.
