Hi yes you can add additional phones to it as long as their the same frequency so that they pick up the signal from the main phone that plugs into the phone line.
Im sure you can have upto 4 handsets but just make sure theis same make and frequency

When the answering system is full, [FL] is displayed on the base, and the system announces "No remaining time."

To delete the old messages.

1) Press the [play/stop] key to review your messages.

3) You will hear a confirmation tone and the message is deleted.

You can also delete all the messages.
1) Press the [ø] key in standby mode.
You will hear an announcement “To delete all messages, press delete again.”
2) Press the key [ø] again.
You will hear a confirmation tone and [ 0 ] is
displayed on the base. All the messages are deleted.

When you try to delete all messages without first listening to your new messages, you will hear several short beeps followed by an announcement “Please playback all messages.” This means it protects you from accidentally erasing messages you have not yet reviewed.

SOURCE: base keeps blinking, and phone says new voice

try unplugging the base to reset it. That voicemail signal is set on or off by your phone service provider. Check with them to see if a: you have v-mail or b: they can reset it
