Dishwasher will not start - Maytag Dishwashers

Frist check to see if you have power you will need a tester , you should have 120 volts at the connection box lower right hand side , be careful it is HOT ! most times when a dish washer wont run it cause the door switch is bad and this is a very easy fix , turn off the power remove the inside of the dish washer door about 20 screws, most times you can see the door switch is broken and it can be ordered from this place http://www.appliancepartspros.com/ they ship same day i have gotten many parts from them good luck this is not a hard job just be careful of the power.
