SOURCE: VIA RAMA U8668 (PRO) sound driver problem

You are going to have to physically look at your mainboard.
The reems of drivel you posted are all but useless, but for one line:
Motherboard Name VIARAMA U8668 (Pro)

This line ids your board as a Biostar U8668, but what you HAVE to verify is the Pro part.

Here are the downloads for a U8668:
http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbdownloads.asp?model=U8668
(it uses a C-Media audio driver)

Here are the downloads for a U8668 Pro:
http://www.biostar.com.tw/supp....php3?name=U8668%20Pro
(it uses a VIA audio driver)

If you physically LOOK at your board as seen here:
http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbs...model=U8668&socket=478
You will notice that just above (or to the left when mounted in a case) the ram slots the model number is printed on the board, what you have to verify is if "Pro" follows the U8668, and then use the appropriate driver.

you need to put the Driver CD that came with the mother board, install all the drivers that the computer wants. this includes the audio driver..

unfortunatley we cant get that drivers but try using this website... www.drivermax.com ... in that isntall the software and this will take care of ur drivers...u can get ur drivers from this site...
