Keyboard won't type in English,
Steps for windows xp
1 Go to Start ? Control Panel ? Regional and Language Options ? Add other languages.
2 Note that, in the lower box, you need to check the check box next to the words "Install files for East Asian Languages".
3 Hit the "Details" button in the upper box.
4 Keep in mind that, on the right of the list of languages you have on your computer, you should now click "Add..."
5 Choose your language and hit "OK".
6 Select "Apply" (this is the window with the "Add..." button on it).
7 Select "Apply" (this is the first window that you opened).
note you may need the windows xp disc to do this to install the proper language file.
Steps for vista
1 On your desktop, click the "start" button.
2 Then, click "control panel"
3 On the right hand collumn, click "change keyboards and other imput methods", (which is situated under "Clock, Language, and Region")
4 Click, "Change Keyboards"
5 There, you should see all the languages your keyboard is currently programmed to. Click "add"
6 Here is a list of languages to select. Tick the box of the language you choose, and click "Ok"
7 This will take you back to the previous screen, where your selected language will be added to the list. Click "apply" to finish.
8 To use your chosen language, look at the toolbar. There is an icon which is "EN" (if the default language is English.)
9 Click the icon and then the new language to type in it.
