Does not charge battery
Change dry capacitor C13 47uF/50V. Change capacitor C17 220uF/35V if bulged. While you are soldering, change capacitor C16 10uF/50V at the same time.

My BNT 1000A UPS has 'blown' the L1 Inductor (situated between T1 and C9 on the circuit board). Can you give me the full specs of this resistor so that I can have it replaced
L1 is 220uH. It looks like a resistor but it is an inductor.

AC Volts on Input when loaded
If you're saying that there is voltage output on the input wire when unplugged from the wall you should contact the manufactureer as this is a defect.

Hi, I have two of these UPS and in both the
try removing the fans and remove a sticker at the centre, to find bearings,clean them with a cloth then spray Iso-Propyl alcohol (IP) clean with dry cloth put few drops of low viscosity oil(2T oil will help).tell me if the noise do reduce.
