This code has to do with fuser unit to not keep doing this over again. If the code comes back replace the fuser unit. re-setting over over could cause a fire that would ruin a perfectly good day. Once the new fuser is installed run this again.
1. Call the Service Mode to the screen.
2. Select the key as follows.
[System 1] ? [Initialization] ? [System Error Clear].
3. Press the Start key.
4. When [OK] is displayed, turn off the main power switch and turn it on again more than
10 seconds after.

On the right side of the machine just below the scanner section (The part with the big glass) is a cover next to where you connect the Ethernet cable. Remove the cover, with the machine on use a small screw driver and gently depress the small black switch. The machine is going to go thru some screens watch the left side of screen in the middle you will see a "." when that is displayed press 3. Enter the 8-digit service code and touch [END]. (Default value: 00000000) The code will come back but now press the Utility/Counter button, you should see a button that says Maintenance Mode press that, see Trouble Reset press that and the machine will again will go thru warm up procedure, you will see the "." DO Nothing! The machine should go to "Ready to Copy" if the code comes back. Have a technician look at it DO NOT CONTINUE TO RESET the code is for the Hot Part called the FUSER. It can catch on fire! And that will ruin a perfectly good day!!!!

If code comes back after conducting this procedure replace the fuser unit (The hot part) do not continue to reset machine it is broke and trying to tell you it is broke could cause a fire that will ruin a perfectly good day. Once fuser is replaced then re do the the procedure
1. Turn OFF the main power switch.
2. Turn main power switch ON while pressing the Utility/Counter key.
3. Touch [Trouble Reset].
4. Check to make sure that [OK] is displayed and the it has been reset.
5. After turning off the main power switch, turn it on again more than 10 seconds after
and check if the machine starts correctly.

I know this is and old post, but I came across this issue today and this post is the first that came up in my Google searches, and three was no good response. So I thought I would post an update.[Sorry Zaheer, I know you were trying to be helpful, but your response was a little too vague and in the end, inaccurate]1) Go to the printer's Web Connection by typing the IP address in a browser. 2) Make sure you are on the "System" tab (Blue) at the top3) Click on the "Detail" link on the side menu4) Click on the "Interface Info" sub link* Notice that you do NOT log into the Admin portion of the Web Connection. That will only confuse you.This will show various stats, one of which is the MAC Address of the machine. It seems like this would be better placed in the Network tab under the admin interface, but here it is.Hope this helps someone.
