When a progam there use java should start to run et say JAVA not activ. I have check in the system setting it is activ. I have removed java and installed a new version, but it will not work. Hope somebody can help. Rg Jens
It depends on the program you are opening, you didn't say? Some software or games don't work on the latest java updates, or 64bit versions. For instance, POGO, a game will not. Limewire, will not. There are many others. It's the program, older software usually, not always.

Why is your Anti Virus not working? First address the Malware/Virus issue. Download freeware MALWAREBYTES at :http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwar... Run a Full SCAN, DELETE ALL RESULTS, REBOOT. You still haven't said WHAT program will not run? Is it on-line? Are you using IE 32bit version? If so you should download the 32bit version as well.
Run the scan and post results. You need the McAfee working.

This issue is caused by the security software on the computer. Most security software have features like AD blocking and Script blocking which causes this problem.
You can try turning off this feature in the security software. Alternatively there are couple of things that can be done.
For IE 6, goto tools manage add-ons and disable all the items except the ones which have the name Java or Flash or Sun Microsystems or Adobe.
For IE7, goto Tools - Advanced tab and click on the Reset button.
Or goto Tools – Programs tab – Click “Manage addons” and do the same as above.

Issue
Wordbiz 1.8 does not launch when you run it under vista.
Solution
Just run the program administrator for this:
1. Right click on the icon WordBiz ISC RO
2. Properties
3. Compatibility tab
4. In the Priviledge level section check the box Run this program as administrator.
5. Click OK and restart your application.

I had the same problems and found that the new driver i had upgraded to for my NVidia card was the culprit. I rolled it back and my problem was fixed. Hope this helps.
