Computer crashes, suddenly goes black, or freezes with an annoy buzz. I keep getting the problem over and over. Windows 8 is up to date. PS I had the same problem with Win 7, I thought the upgrade might help. It did for a while, but the problem is back. I read in another website that it may be and audio driver conflict. So I disable the second audio driver, but the problem continues. I would appreciate any help. Thank, --Ed
The problem may still be your audio. If you go into the bios and switch the audio off and the problem disappears then you will need a separate audio card in a PCI slot.

There have been alot of problems with Windows 7 and older software compatabilty. I have conflicting info on what audio you system has. One says Realtek:

This site supports up to Windows Vista but, in some cases Vista will work with Win 7. You can also try here:

With Intel, click on the "run Intel Driver Update", and let Intel scan your system, because they will let you know if your sound is theirs or not. What it may come down to is, if you can't find a driver, and, want Windows 7, you may have to upgrade to a sound or graphics card.

It is most likely the cpu fan, check to see if you have enough thermal paste on cpu, if not apply a little more and see if that resolve the issue.
