Help!!
I also had an "eR FF" message. I discovered that the fan inside the freezer compartment was locked up from accumulated frost. I unplugged the refreigerator for about 6 hours and left the freezer compartment door open so it could completely defrost. So far, it's been running smoothly (and more quietly!) for about 24 hours now. (My fingers are still crossed).
