SOURCE: 4 digit security code reset
Here is the link for the user manual if you need it; http://inform2.kenwoodusa.com/manuals/KDCMP228.pdf Page 5 shows the reset button, page 19 shows all the security code procedures which have to be followed even after a reset. This site has a few partial methods which might be worth trying for your player but unfortunately no complete solution; http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/4/312069.html Sorry but I think it has to be a dealer - if it was so easy there would be no point having security codes at all - Kenwood says; "How do I reset my security code? If you do not know the security code for your unit, you will need to take the unit to a Kenwood authorized service center to have it decoded. The code feature can only be activated when the code has been entered twice, so it isn't accidentally activated. The service center will often require you to provide a proof of purchase as this feature is designed for theft prevention and the proof of purchase will ensure you are the rightful owner of the product. You can locate the nearest service center in your area here, or by calling (800) KENWOOD. Though we try to locate service facilities in local areas for our customers, at times consumers may be required to ship their product to the facility for repair. Once you have had your code reset, please make a note of the code and keep it in a safe place away from your vehicle." Hope this helps - sorry if bad news :)
SOURCE: I forgot my pass word for samsung A736
Hello there. This works on most Samsung phones I work on. Enter *2767*3855# (resets the eprom) enter *7465625*638*00000000*00000000# (unlocks the security setting and sets security code to 8 zeros) enter #7465625*638*00000000# (confirms security code changed to 8 zeros) Your security code is 8 zeros. To change the code, repeat the procedure replacing the string of 8 zeros with your security code. Happy hacking. If this does not work for your phone repost with your results and we can try other ways. Please rate me if this helps. Thanks for allowing me to serve you on Fixya.com

Try checking to see that you set up the DNS address correctly on the DVR itself. Either set it to the router (typically 192.168.x.1) or the same DNS address as the router.
