Sync out of range message 29.8k/60, how to clear this ?

This monitor (supposedly) only supports the following ranges:

Horizontal Rate (KHz) 30-70 Vertical Rate (Hz) 56-85
29.8K < 30K (although darn close).

This is usually fixed in the settings for your graphics card. Are you running Windows or Linux?

If Windows: You can load up the drivers for the monitor (I never do) or choose to hardwire the monitor to a VGA LCD 1024x768 and then even force the vertical refresh to 75Hz (or something nice). Try that.

In Linux (under Xwindows), you'll need to look at the /etc/X11/xorg.conf (if using that) and change the section for the monitor to include the limits as shown above.

Do a "man xorg.conf" for the parms. They're also on Xorg's website.
