I have a intermatic timer model T103 i just put in. I use it to run outdoor lights. I can manually turn off and on lights but i cant get the clock to rotate or work. I have returned it and replaced it with new. Still has same problem. wondering if i have it wired right.

Sounds like you have Line and Load wires reversed.
Line wires come from breaker to timer.
Load wires leave timer and go to Load (light, fan, motor, pump)
Open following link to view wiring for T103

Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, expert speaks with you over phone while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.
