Why i can't download an ie8 for free - Computers & Internet

As per Adobe Macromedia Flash 8 is not compatible with any Windows beyond XP
First, uninstall Macromedia Flash 8
confirm your version of IE8 is 32 bit, as Flash only works properly with IE 32bit
If your version of IE8 is 64bit, you have to download the 32bit version from MS site.
uninstall IE and install IE 32 bit,

There are three ways you can uinstall IE8-:

1. Go to control panel >> programs & features >> select ie8 from the list and click on remove

2. Press the windows key and the letter R on the keyboard together, a run box will appear.Type CMD and click on OK.Now a command prompt screen will appear.Now copy and paste this command as it is- %windir%\ie8\spuninst\spuninst.exe
and hit enter

3. You can use a free tool from Microsoft to uinstall IE8, following is the link for downloading the uninstaller tool -: http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9646982
Copy and paste this link the address bar of the browser ,download this tool and run it.It will automatically uninstall IE8 from your machine.

2. just uninstall IE8 and download and install IE 9

it is my opinion that internet explorer is a bad joke. i suggest using Mozilla Firefox, its a free download. i have windows 7 that came with IE8 and after a month, i couldn't download anything, open links in email, even my antivirus gave me grief over it, so i gave up on it

I have problem like that before and here is what I did...and it works, until now i can easily access my yahoo messenger..

I am using a mozilla browser.. because it surfs fast....the yahoo messenger can't be accessed.. with the right username and password and the net connection is stable..but no luck to get log in..I did uninstalled and reinstalled yahoo messenger for several times but still it won't work..

Then I search internet and found out that yahoo products rely its connection on microsoft Internet Explorer.....meaning yahoo messenger is best supported by Internet Explorer....So what I did is download the latest Internet Explorer 8 and download also the yahoo mesenger 10.
It did not matter whether you will be using IE8 as your default web browser or not. Just install IE8 on your computer (mine..am still using mozilla as my default web browser)......after installing IE8, install Yahoo Messenger10....

After successful installation.. sign in at yahoo messenger and it will work...

IE8 has built in web accelerators, you need no others. If you use the newest Firefox then you can enable your accelerators. CNN Broadcast News site has malware free downloads and plenty of downloaders/netboosters/cleanup tools....ect safe and reliable.

YES, YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IE8, BUT UNDERSTAND THAT IE8 IS A BETA PRODUCT IN DEVELOPMENT SO YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME ISSUES WITH XP. MOST OF THESE SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE HANDLED WITH XP COMPATIBILITY MODE SETTING. I WOULD GO UP ON THE IE8 WEBSITE IN GOOGLE AND CHECK OUT SOME OF THE NOTES ON IE8 BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO DOWNLOAD IT. I HAVE BEEN USING IT ON MY LAPTOP, BUT I'M USING VISTA HOME PREM. ON THIS MACHINE. I HAVEN'T HAD PROBLEMS WITH IT, BUT HAVE WORKED WITH BETA VERSIONS BEFORE. IT SHOULD BE FINE, JUST READ ABOUT SOME OF THE ISSUES FIRST AND YOU SHOULD DO FINE. OK?
