It seems like your Yamaha PSR 1000 has a malfunction where pressing one button triggers multiple functions simultaneously. This could be due to a faulty connection or internal component. Have you considered contacting a professional technician to diagnose and repair the issue? They should be able to assess the problem and provide a solution to fix the buttons and prevent simultaneous triggering of functions.
It's possible the fretboard radius and bridge radius doesn't match so that the zero fret isn't making enough contact. It may be possible to recut either the nut slot or the saddle to get it all to work. Find a good repairman, not a guitar cener guy, or if it was bought new, send it back to Gibson under warranty.
Other than cleaning VERY CAREFULLY, there is no DIY on a damaged lense assembly, only replacement. Clean with 99% isoprophyl alcohol and a Q tip VERY gently and leav no cotton strands.
Check controller cable between base and remote. Look for bent pins. If appears ok, you may have an internal loose connection. Try and narrow down if loose section is on base or remote. You could have it resoldered if needed. digitalrepair@hotmail.com
There are many ways to attempt a fix with this error you could try firsta boot into safe mode then running msconfig select the diagnostic startup then reboot in the normal way this might enable you to find your error.
If this fails click the LAUNCH SYSTEM RESTORE which maybe able to use one of your restore points created at an earlier time (usually before an app install) this may give you the fix you require.
Had same issue with mine, talking with retailer it seems to be a common problem. I am in New Zealand and have been waiting 2 months for parts to arrive. Something wrong with laser and servo. Good luck getting yours fixed.
