I have a delonghi DNC 65. When we lose power, which is often I need to go and restart the unit each time. Is there any way to have the unit to start automatically when the power comes back on?

You would have to resort to a smart plug. However, this would only work if the dehumidifier resumes operation when power is supplied, which may not be the case for all models. Alternatively, you could explore dehumidifiers with built-in auto-restart functionality for future purchases.

I bought a model #WDH70EAPW dehumidifier and it runs but the bucket does not fill.

Is the unit set to continuous drainage mode. That bypasses the bucket. If the humity level is already low, the dehumidifier might not collect much water. Is the air filer or drainage system clogged? If the refrigerant level is low, the dehumidifier might not be able to extract moisture. Finally, if the water level sensor or float assembly is malfunctioning, the bucket might not fill. Inspect for damage. r

My 50 pint CA compressor om on but not the fan. Fan turn fine.

Replacing the fan's capacitor might resolve the issue. But replacing the fan's motor might be necessary. Other potential possibilities are the thermostat or control board. Inspect them for faults. Also, a loose or damage wiring might be a source of trouble.

I have a DMV dehumidifier model number DDR070BDWDP. There’s a black plastic piece which I think is a float (not sure) and I have no idea where it goes. Can anybody help me?

The black plastic piece you're referring to is likely the float assembly, which is used to detect the water level in the bucket. Here's how you can address this: Locate the Float Slot: Check inside the bucket or near the drainage area for a slot or holder where the float assembly should be placed. It typically moves up and down to signal when the bucket is full. Consult the manual for diagrams. Ensure the float assembly is undamaged. Here is the manual: DANBY DDR070BDPWDB OWNER'S USE AND CARE MANUAL Pdf Download ' ManualsLib If unsure, try Danby's customer support.

Comfee Model M70DK has drain hose attached and now drains but also fill bucket. I want it to keep using drain hose and not the bucket

Here are some steps to ensure it uses the drain hose exclusively and stops filling the bucket: Verify Hose Connection: Ensure the drain hose is securely attached to the outlet and positioned correctly. A loose or improperly connected hose can cause water to divert into the bucket. Check Settings: Some dehumidifiers have a setting to prioritize continuous drainage through the hose. Double-check the user manual to ensure this mode is activated. Inspect the Hose for Blockages: Even a partial blockage in the hose can cause water to back up into the bucket. Clean the hose thoroughly to ensure smooth drainage. Elevate the Unit: If the hose is draining upwards, make sure the dehumidifier is elevated to assist gravity and the pump mechanism. Disable Bucket Drainage: Some models allow you to disable bucket drainage entirely when using a hose. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to do this. Hiscense dehumidifier DH7019K1G- E9 error

Some additional steps to consider: Inspect the Humidity Sensor: The E9 error often points to a faulty humidity sensor. Dust buildup or wear and tear can cause it to malfunction. Cleaning or replacing the sensor might resolve the issue. Check Wiring Connections: Loose or damaged wiring between the control board and the sensor can trigger the error. Inspect all connections for signs of wear or disconnection. Test the Control Board: Even though you've replaced the circuit board, ensure it's functioning correctly and communicating with the sensor. A professional technician might be needed for this step. Continuous Drainage Issue: Since the bucket is filling up despite using a hose, double-check the drainage setup. Ensure the hose is properly connected and positioned to allow water to flow freely. Reset the Unit: Perform a hard reset by unplugging the unit for at least 5 minutes before restarting it. This can sometimes clear error codes. You might have to resort to contacting the manufacturer for assistance if the above steps don't help.

Hanover dehumidifier the bucket full light comes on when the bucket is not full. Maybe a sensor switch - is there a fix for this or does it require a new part.

Check that the float assembly near the bucket is undamaged and not stuck. Does it move freely? Also, the float switch activated by the float assembly when the bucket is full might be faulty, signalling the bucket is full even when it is not. Test the switch's continuity using a multimeter. Clean the sensor assembly. Dirt there may cause false readings. If these components are functioning, the issue might be with the control board which monitors the bucket's water level. It might need replacement. Hanover's customer support might be helpful. How to Fix a Dehumidifier That Says Bucket is Full When It Isn't

Airforce WDH-820EAH Dehumidifier. What does the code LO mean on airforce dehumidifier WHD-820EAH?

Question edited for clarity, and CAPS. It is a 'WDH' not WHD. Question moved from Misc. It means you don't need to be running it. What Does "Lo" Mean? For the WDH Models, if the display screen shows "Lo" (or the right display screen is showing "Lo" in WDH series models), then there is too little moisture in the air for the unit to remove any more moisture from the air. This means the ambient relative humidity (%RH) is below 30%, which is the minimum setting. ..

      • Ensure there is at least 6-12 inches of space around the unit for optimal air circulation.
    2. Power Connection:
      • Plug the dehumidifier into a standard electrical outlet. Make sure the outlet is properly grounded.

If I set my dehumidifier at a higher number does it take more moisture out of the air than a lower number

Yes. It will work harder until it reaches its target, which you have chosen by choosing a higher number. If set at a lower number, the air will have more moisture.
