Roll brush on the shark navigator lift awat

Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial. There are a number of reasons why your brush roller has stopped moving. General maintenance to your vacuum is crucial and will help it work at peak performance. First things first lets focus on the brush roller. Unplug the vacuum and turn it on its side. Look for any noticeable clumps of debris or hair strands that may be caught in the brush roller. Remove these obstructions, probably best to do so with a scissor if it's hair or long pieces of carpet fibers. After removing the debris try manually rotating the brush roller to uncover other hidden clogs. Another thing to take note of is the condition of the bristles on the roll itself. Are they loose or worn down? These are signs that your brush roller is in need of replacing. While checking out your brush roll you might as well take a look at your vacuums belt. Your belt should be replaced about every three months. After regular usage, the belt will stretch out, lessening the tension on the brush roller. Lesser tension diminishes the brush roller's turn rate and speed. If the belt feels loose then it certainly is effecting your vacuums suction as well as your brush roll not moving at all. Hepa filter & cover fly off when vacuuming. Have only used vacuum a few times.

Make sure the filter cover is securely locked to the unit or you could always tape it to the unit if all else fails.

How can I replace or repair the small hose that is split connecting the brush roll case and the vacuum itself. It does disconnect to the main body of the vacuum. can the hose be replaced?

get an exploded parts diagram of your machine. if the hose (part) is listed separately, then a replacement should be available from the manufacturer. otherwise you may need to take the vacuum in for service from a dealer shop. More than likely, if it is NOT warranty work, it will be less expensive to replace the item.

How do I installa new hose to the mortorized brush head on my shark lift waway

Hi, it's Allie from Crucial Vacuum! Replacing your Shark Floor Nozzle Hose is very easy. Start by unplugging your unit to avoid any safety hazards. The floor nozzle hose's side that attached to the floor base of your Navigator can easily be pulled away. The other side of the floor nozzle hose has two tabs that can be pushed in while pulling it away from the base. When installing, connect the floor nozzle hose to the canister first by pressing both side tabs while placing it until it click in its place. Then connect the hose to the floor base. I have the shark rotator lift away almost new, only used a few times, i inspected the small blk belt it is still tight, everything else seems good, brush is new why wont the brush spin ?

Does everyone understand there is switch or button that controls the rotating brush? Brushes stop spinning automatically when vacuum cleaner is in the UPRIGHT POSITION.
Because now you should be using the hose and attachments

Check that the drive shafts and bearings aren't rusted or frozen with junk. Try spraying them with WD40 and gently manipulating them in an attempt to free them up. It may require you manually disassembling some of the casing to get to the drive motor...

I need a wiring diagram for the shark quantum vacuum cleaner

AS far as I am aware and I have been in the trade for many years, there are limited spares for the Shark range and no schematics or diagrams due to their policy. If it fails under warranty, they replace it, they don't attempt to repair them because it is not cost effective.
